What is Bleach Bright?
The Bleach Bright Home Whitening System comprises of a soft moulding tray, two 10ml syringes filled whitening gel and a hard case to keep the mouthpiece in. There are no details available about the mouth trays- the product information states that it is “patent pending never seen before” so this may be a “boil and bite” mouth tray or possibly something completely different.
The hydrogen peroxide gel is said to be the strongest on the market at 30% and should be used for seven days to get a 10 shades improvement of teeth colour. No treatment times are specified.
WARNING: Bleach Bright is a strong whitening gel that certainly contains a lot of bleach!
Bleach Bright disadvantages
There are many disadvantages to using this product.
- Firstly the price. The $84.95 price tag plus postage cost is a lot to pay for a basic whitening kit and any basic whitening kit would probably do the same job at a fraction of the price.
- High level of bleach could cause discomfort and pain to the mouth especially for those with sensitive teeth and certainly if left on for too long.
- Website gives more information about re selling the range than it does about the product and it is unclear whether full instructions are included with the system.
- A lack of customer feedback makes it impossible to see what consumers have to say about Bleach Bright and the company’s claim that it is America’s Number One cosmetic whitening system is unfounded.
Bleach Bright … verdict
Bleach Bright should probably be avoided.
This whitening system is expensive and the lack of instructions gives cause for concern. The high levels of bleach and lack of product details are worrying and some of the claims made by the website untrue. The website is full of ludicrous statements such as “Bleach Bright revolutionises the art of smiling” which is enough reason for most people to avoid this product.
