What is Perfecta REV?

This kit is part of a range of dental products sold to the dentistry trade by Premier Dental and is also available on sale to the public from some online retail outlets.

Each pack should contain two 3 cc syringes both with 4oz of REV whitening gel, plus finishing rinse and one tube of Arm and Hammer whitening toothpaste. Although this is a mouth tray whitening system, mouth trays are not included in the kit.

How does Perfecta REV work?

The treatment is in two parts, the 14% hydrogen peroxide formula whitening gel should first be applied to the teeth via a mouth tray (not included in the kit) and left in place for 15 minutes. The second step of the treatment is the REV finishing rinse that is used to wash the teeth and remove any residue. The gel is water based which should remove up to 60% of sensitivity experienced with other products.

Perfecta REV is a trade product for dentists so mouth trays are not included in the kit because the dentist will custom fit the trays to the customer himself. Perfecta REV is a good quality, reputable product that is used by many dentists. Treatment time is fast at only 15 minutes a day and the water base hydrogen peroxide gel reduces sensitivity to the gums and teeth.

Perfecta REV is not a complete whitening kit. You will need to buy mouth trays or have them professionally made for you at the dentist and you will need to shop around to find the product on sale to the public. Some users have complained of irritation to the gums.

Perfecta REV is an effective teeth-whitening product but it is not a complete whitening system. The price varies and the private user cannot buy direct from the product website. For the home user, an established home whitening system such as smile 4 you is easier to buy, is much better value and is a complete home kit that has been proven to work.
