Prowhitesmile offers a range of teeth whitening products that on first glance looks impressive.
Complete teeth whitening systems are available from £14.99 for the Pro White Smile Standard kit to the top of the range Ultima system at £79.00, which comes with custom, made mouth trays professionally made by company technicians. The company also advertises laser technology as part of the whitening process.
All products can be purchased online direct from the manufacturer.
What is Prowhitesmile?
The Pro White Smile Standard Kit contains one 10ml syringe of whitening gel plus two thermoform custom trays and full instructions and colour chart. The gel comes in a choice of two strengths – either 16% or 23% at the same price to suit sensitive teeth or provide a stronger effect. Information is not provided about how many treatments the syringe will deliver. However, refills are available from the company at £8.99 each.
The Ultima system offers professionally made mouth trays. The kit includes an impression kit that enables you to take an impression of your teeth, send it to the laboratory and receive two tailor made mouth trays in return that fit your mouth exactly. This kit comes with three 10ml syringes of bleaching gel, again available in either 16% or 23% strength.
The company also offers Dr Georges Dental White kit, which is a copy of Dental White gel – developed by Dr George Madray in 1989. This is a totally different product and a very good copy of the original packaging.
Prowhitesmile negatives
It is hard to think of any advantages to using Prowhitesmile although the low price of the Prowhitesmile Standard Kit appears to be good value for money and the refills are not expensive.
Many of the products mentioned on the Prowhitesmile website are not available, such as the laser pen or the new plasma laser light technology. There is little product information and no independent customer reviews are available.
Dr Georges Dental White Kit is obviously a copy of an established reputable product, right down to the shape of the bottle and typeface and the Prowhitesmile website is dotted with errors making the overall impression of the brand very suspect.

When you use a home teeth-whitening kit, it is essential that you choose a safe and reputable product to avoid any unpleasant side effects caused by the bleaching process. There are many reliable good quality teeth whitening products available to choose from which are safe and have been proved to work.
Choosing a well-known and reputable teeth-whitening product such as smile 4 you would be a safer alternative to Prowhitesmile.
